Career Definition:
Career is defined by the Oxford English Dictionary as a person's "course or progress through his life''.
Difference between a career and job:

• A JOB can be defined as a set of specific tasks carried out by a person in order to accomplish a certain goal.....Doing a JOB may or may not be satisfying.
• A CAREER, on the other hand, is often thought of by many as an occupation that reflects who you are (personal temperaments; strengths & weaknesses; skills; attitudes, etc.) and what’s most important to you in life (life and work values, interests and goals) 

Career,Occupation,Job:

• A career is a life time journey of building and making good use of your skills, Knowledge and experience.It is the total of all events and relationships in our lives: family, friends,education,work and leisure activities.
• An occupation is a wide category of jobs with similar characteristics. Like physicians, engineers, scientists etc. 
• A job is a work for which you receive pay. like accountant, marketer, supervisor at XYZ company.
